• Question: Why should vaccinations NOT be mandatory?

      I think they should be mandatory as it provides what’s known as herd protection. We wouldn’t have eradicated small pox if we didn’t vaccinate. Why risk getting horrible diseases like measles by not taking a vaccine?

      Vaccinations should be made mandatory to prevent diseases…they are the magic bullets by which the body can protect us by generating an immune response against the harmful pathogen.

      I personally think they should be mandatory but I can see why some people don’t agree with this. People may want to make their own choices rather than be forced into having vaccines however vaccines are cheap, safe and easy ways of preventing really awful diseases.
