      Streptomycetes maybe the nicest bacteria. It has provided some very important medicine for humans.

      Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria are two types of bacteria that live in our gut they help us to digest food and keep our immune systems healthy so they are pretty friendly.

      There is also a group of bacteria called Streptomycetes which are found in nature, these bacteria have helped us find antibiotic medicines to treat nasty infections.

      Lactobacillus casei strain Shirota (LcS) is my favourite…it is found in actimel and other forms of yoghurt.
