      No, I believe more trees should be planted and deforestation stopped.

      Absolutely not…I want aforestation (ie planting more trees) rather than deforestation.

      No I don’t agree with it. Forests should be preserved to protect the biodiversity within them.

      No I don’t. Most deforestation happens because of the greed of people in rich counties like ours. Forests are cleared to make grazing pasture to produce cheap meat for our beef burgers or to mine for minerals like lithium and cobalt which are used in smart phone and other gadget batteries. Because this happens so far away from us we don’t see the damage it causes but whole communities lives are destroyed when their homes are taken away and lifestyles changed forever by deforestation. Animals and birds loose their homes too and we loose tree cover, this is important because trees can absorb a lot of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere and keep our planet healthier. Without trees, the atmosphere will become more carbon-heavy.
