I was always a vegetarian because I don’t agree with the way animals are treated for mass-food production. They are often kept in cramped conditions and may not even see the outside world. Recently I realised this was just as bad for dairy cows and egg laying chickens so I decided to stop eating all animal products.

I also believe that being vegan is better for the environment because keeping animals for food production takes up a lot of space and can contribute to deforestation across the world. Cows themselves produce a lot of methane (fart gas) which is a greenhouse gas and contributes to global warming. It wont solve the worlds’ problems but for me being vegan is the best choice I can make to do my bit.
