Anthropology is the study of humans and human behaviours. It can be split up into lots of different areas, for example lots of anthropologists study pre-history humans (Cave people for example) to work out how the lived, communicated and survived. Others look at how human populations use technology to survive and communicate in the modern day.

In my work I use anthropology-based methods to help me understand different cultures and how best to communicate with these cultures. If I want to talk about antibiotic resistance in Nepal, I need to make sure the people I work with understand these words and if not how I can change them to get the same message across. I also need to make sure I dress, speak and act in a polite way for that culture.
